2nd Grade

Bria loves her new teacher Mrs. Palmerton. It has only been a few days but it seems like she is having fun. (I know I am). Bailey starts the 7th of Sept. and I can't wait for that day. She gets really bored at home by herself. She is going to Danene's house, the same preschool teacher that Bria had. Now that we are back into the school year we won't be able to pack up and go wherever we want like we did this summer.

School is back in! Summer is over

Can you believe that summer is over and I now have a 2nd grader and a preschooler. This summer has been crazy. We have done so much. To start out we decided to go to Disneyland the last minute and had way to much fun. Bailey loved the princesses and Bria loved the big rides.

We went and visited Dan a few times in Montana.

We went water skiing a few times and finally got to try out our new jetski. It was fun when it worked.

We swam a lot and the girls ended up with green hair, which they finally just got it cut off. It looks really cute.

We went on a few bike rides down the greenbelt.

We had a lot of fun and we are very sad that it has come to an end until next year.

Catch UP Time!

I figured that since it has been so long since I have done any updates it was catch up time. But the thing is since it has been so long I don't remember all of the details so I will just do the big things that have happened in our lives. So here we go.

We went on a camping trip with my family in July and had a lot of fun. Bria caught her first fish and was a little frightened of it as you can tell.

I also thought that I lost my daughter(Bria)down the river. She was out with Dan playing around down by the river. Bailey and I were in our tent taking a little nap when all of a sudden I hear this death scream from her I immediatly start yelling oh my gosh oh my gosh BRIA, BRIA, BRIA. I was so frantic I couldn't get the tent undone so my family starts running down to the river and when we got down there they were throwing sand and water on each other and that was why my lovely daughter was screaming like she was dying. Gotta love her.

Next on the list is bike ride picnic and movie night at the Welch family. We got together one night and had a movie night in my parents backyard on a big screen. We watched the old parent trap and then the kids stayed the night on the lounge chairs under the stars, they had a lot of fun. Then we woke up the next morning and went on a bike ride down the greenbelt and packed us a picnic. Maybe this could be an annual event.

Then onto Lagoon with the VanZandt's. That was a ton of fun. The girls loved all of the rides and even though it was deathly hot we enjoyed every minute of it.

We had our picture taken at the place where I don't really know what it was called but you pick a theme and they dress you up and take a picture. I think that John(my father in law) could have really lived back in the day. He really fits the picture.

We also went to the Hogle Zoo. We saw a really cool bird show where the birds were flying over our heads. The girls loved the animals.

Now August, Dan and I had our 10 year High School Reunion, saw a lot of people and enjoyed taling to them.

I joined Dan's softball team and played in a few games before he left on all of his work trips. I was terrible but Dan was pretty good.

Bria started her first day of 1st grade. She looked so cute and was a little nervous. She loves it now and loves her teacher Mrs. Singleton.

Bailey also started preschool, it is a co-op preschool and I am one of the teachers so you can imagine how much they are going to learn. But it will give her something to do a few days a week. She is enjoying school and it has been good for her and for me so she doesn't drive me crazy.

September: the only thing I can think of that happened that really matters is that Brandon and Ashley had there little baby boy, Cayden. He was really cute, but now he is almost 6 months old and is doing great.

October: I was tired of being home alone so I packed up the girls and we drove 10 hours to see Dan. He was in Lewistown, Montana. We stayed 1 night there and then headed down to Yellowstone. We saw a lot of elk and a few buffalo, and one little eagle that was up in a tree.

The hotel that we stayed at had a water slide and Bria went down that I bet a hundred times. Dan did it with her a few times this is them coming down.

And this is Bailey standing on the side because she didn't want to get in. She was having fun posing for us though.

Then we went to see Old Faithful, that is a sight to see if you haven't already seen that. This is us waiting for Old Faithful to rise!

We found a really cool waterfall and wanted to take a picture by it so we did!

Here is a picture with animals, because afterall it was yellowstone, and that is what you are suppose to see there.

Then onto Halloween time, we went to the pumpkin patch and picked us some pumpkins. Bailey had a little sun in her face, but she is trying.

Bria was Dorothy and Bailey was Snow White, they looked darling I thought.

November: Yet again nothing much in this month but Thanksgiving. It was at my families house this year and it was fun to see all of my family because my brother and sister are at college now and I got to see them for a little while.

I forgot this but we bought a jetski, in the month of November. Now we are just waiting to use it this summer. It has been taking up space in our garage. We just sit on it and keep pumping up the tires on the trailer.

December: The girls were in the parade with John and Lynn in there new hot rod truck, we had the first snow fall, finally. We did the gift exchange at nanny's house. We decorated gingerbread houses. We opened our pajamas on Christmas Eve and had an awesome rib dinner at Dan's parents house.

We woke up Christmas morning and played with all the fun stuff we got from Santa and from each other. Great Christmas overall.

Bria turned 7 years old on her Birthday this year. She went bowling with some friends and then that night we had family over for cake and ice cream. She got a bike because she is growing to fast and grew out of her other one.(Bailey now rides the old one)

January: We went up to McCall with the Lindley's for New years. We went sledding and played some games. There was a ton of snow. We drank our sparkling cider and the bigger kids stayed awake the whole time. The younger ones tried really hard but they just couldn't make it.

I finally sold my couches and got some new ones. I love them!

February: We went up to McCall agian but with my family for the winter carnival. There were a lot of cool sculptors and we saw an awesome fireworks show. We watched a parade and got lots of beads.

I made my first turkey for Valentines Day. It turned out to be really good.

I turned 29 this year and have decided thatI am not getting any older.

That has now got us caught up and hopefully I can stay caught up with all the fun events happening in our lives.
